A Campaign To Transform Senior Care
At The Cedars, we believe that when seniors decide they can no longer live at home without help, they should not have to leave behind that feeling of home. We are very serious about changing senior care to reflect that belief. We have been providing care to Maine seniors for over 88 years. We offer a beautiful, modern campus, a talented staff and amenities that make us a category leader. We are uniquely positioned to take on this enormous challenge.
And so, at this most critical moment, we have boldly committed to:
- Implementing a person-centered culture
- Adopting the Household Model
- Constructing the Sam L. Cohen House to include:
- A Memory Care Assisted Living Household that will add a new, vitally needed, level of service
- Two long-term care Households
- Renovating existing space in the Hoffman Center to include three additional Households
